What is covered
- Failure of LEDs, circuit boards or components resulting in non-illumination of a segment.
- Lumen depreciation beyond what is expected for the product's rated life when operated within its ratings.
- Color shift that is materially outside the product's published specification.
Conditions of coverage
This warranty applies only when the product has been:
- Installed by a qualified, licensed electrician in accordance with FlowLite's installation instructions and all applicable national and local electrical codes.
- Operated within its published ratings, including input voltage, maximum run length, location rating (for example, IP20 dry-location products used only in dry locations) and ambient temperature range.
- Powered by a compatible, properly sized electronic driver of the correct output voltage, and controlled by a compatible dimmer or control system.
- Used for its intended purpose and not subjected to misuse, neglect, accident or unauthorized modification.
Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:
- Damage from improper installation, handling, storage or excessive bending or pressure on tape light.
- Damage caused by over-voltage, power surges, incorrect polarity, incompatible drivers or controls, or exceeding the maximum run length.
- Use in an environment outside the product's ratings, including moisture exposure of dry-location products.
- Products that have been modified, repaired or cut other than at the marked cut points by anyone other than FlowLite.
- Normal, gradual lumen depreciation and minor color variation consistent with LED technology, including variation between production lots ordered at different times.
- Cosmetic wear, scratches, and fading or discoloration of finishes due to environmental conditions.
- Damage from fire, flood, lightning, acts of nature or other events beyond FlowLite's control.
Remedies
If a product is found to be defective within the Warranty Period, FlowLite will, at its sole option, repair the product, replace it with the same or a functionally equivalent product, or issue a credit for the original purchase price. Replacement products are warranted for the remainder of the original Warranty Period.
Unless agreed in writing in advance, this warranty does not cover labor or costs for removal, reinstallation, lifts, access equipment or field service. Because LED technology evolves, FlowLite cannot guarantee that replacement products will exactly match the appearance, color temperature or output of products installed earlier.

Limitation of liability
THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS THE SOLE WARRANTY AND IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
